Greg Trainor founded the Philadelphia Community Corps in 2011. Previously, he’d been an Americorps NCCC corps member, writer, disaster response crew leader, EMT, and federal forest firefigher.
He has an adorable pit bull lab mix named Scout, and likes to spend his free time getting a lot of work done.
Alex is an educator and social worker by trade but also has experience in nonprofit management. In addition to serving as an education and outreach coordinator for various out-of-school time programs for youth, and a substitute teacher, he began a nonprofit organization while attending Temple University. Alex first joined the PCC as a Foreman and Instructor of the job training program and has since taken on an administrative role.
Alex is a Hanover, PA transplant who has called Philadelphia home for nearly a decade. He is an avid cook, bike rider, artist, billiards player and music fan.

Josh has worked as a product designer for 20 years, recently focusing his career on the nonprofit world. He has worked on both US coasts and in Europe, and is excited to now be in Philly and contribute to the city he calls home. Previously, he designed all manner of products in the consumer, commercial, medical, and automobile industries. This background in creative problem solving and his lifetime of DIY experience make him a great resource for PCC buyers as they search for project materials.
